Songs You Won’t Be Able To Skip

Making a playlist is serious business here at LD, and we take pride in getting you ready to face the coming week and fight off the “Mondaze.” This week we are featuring songs you can’t skip. Like many people I live my life in the car skipping songs on my iPod to get the that one songs I really want to hear. Sometimes I know exactly what I’m looking for, other times I just stop when I hear the right intro. We all have the songs we just can’t skip. Some are go-to songs for dancing or to pump up a party, others are for us to play diva and sing-along, and some just make us feel all the feels. Here is my list of 13 unskippable songs.

1. :I Dont Want to Be” by Gavin DeGraw

2. “Can’t Be Love” by Laura Izibor

3. “Never Let Me Go” by Florence + The Machine

4. “Latch” (Acoustic) by Sam Smith

5. “Try” by Colbie Caillat

6. “Shut Up and Dance” by Walk The Moon

7. “Ghost” by Ella Henderson

8. “Ex’s & Oh’s” by Elle King

9. “Brave” by Sara Bareilles

10. “Chasing the Sun” by The Wanted

Lindsey Collins is an Alabama native and a grad of UA. #RollTide. She has been with Literally, Darling for almost two years, first as a writer of all the fandom/pop culture things. After realizing how much of a entertainment buff she is, they made her Entertainment Editor. She is a lover of all things nerd and sometimes can't help how excited she gets about fictional people. If you are looking for her, you'll probably find her in the Young Adult section of a bookstore, or on her couch reading books from said section. If you can’t find her in a bookstore, it’s because she finally found a genie to grant her wish to be a mermaid. Follow her on Twitter and Instagram at @bellelcollins to see pictures of her nephew and read her weird stories.
