Tis the season for endless gatherings, parties, evenings out, and a countless roll-call for holiday festivities. Aside from being
exhausting a merry way of connecting with loved ones during the festive season, it can be a helluva burden on your wardrobe. Not only do you feel compelled to look your best and like life and the season aren’t beating you into bone-weary submission, but it’s a difficult time of year to budget -or find time to shop – for excess party clothes.
However if you’re plus sized, that effort gets even harder. There may be far more options available to curvy women these days, but it’s still a rarity to be able to find your sizes in stores the day you need them. Places like Loft, Target, Old Navy (generally up to XXL), and some department stores give you an ability to try things on instead of playing the wait-and-see if it will fit game. Unfortunately, even the size inclusive stores often make you go online for the full stock of their plus sized items.
So since you’re already going to be in a bind because of the holidays, and because being plus-sized means you have to be able to plan everything in advance, hope for the best, and maybe it will all work out once your clothes finally ship to your door, I’ve taken a little bit of the research work out of the equation for you. Here are a few plus size outfit ideas for holiday festivities to get you started. And because tis the season for giving, I’ve even dug up the promo codes so you can get the best deal possible.
